The webcams for the new Cardrona redesign are now working.
I wanted to create a “timewarp” style display where viewers could see all of todays’ (or last weeks) webcam images faded in an overlay style over a set timeframe. This allows you to see shadows moving, clouds rolling in, and people moving about. The application took nearly two weeks to perfect and integrate the timing with the live webcam feeds – but it’s now live and working as intended – this should be a real asset to the project and definitely creates a more appealing display than any other snow site I’ve researched.
